The Bears improved to 15-1 (8-0 9-AAA) with a 10-0 win over Gallatin Wednesday night. Grayson Cole was masterful on the mound picking up his fifth win of the year. Cole pitched all six innings and gave up zero runs on one hit, nine strikeouts, and one walk.
At the plate, the Bears were led by John Dyer, who went 3-4 with two RBI and one run scored. Cade Hoppe also went 3-4 with a double, one RBI, and two runs scored. Trevor Vestal went 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored. Brayden Osborne went 2-3 with two RBI singles and one run scored. Dalton Earhart went 1-2 with one RBI and one run scored. Thomas Fullerton rounded out the Bears hits with an RBI single.
Mt. Juliet will travel to Knoxville on Friday to play in the Scott Dean Memorial Tournament. On Friday at 4:00 PM, they will finish the suspended game from last Friday against Farragut with the scored tied at 0-0 in the top of the fourth inning. They will then play Farragut again in the regularly scheduled tournament game 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game. They will also play Grace Christian at 7:30 PM. All games on Friday are at Farragut High School.
