On Monday, November 14, three Golden Bear Baseball players signed scholarship papers with SEC schools.
Dylan Bonds, a left-handed pitcher, signed with the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. Originally from Arkansas, Bonds said it was always his dream to play for the Razorbacks. As a junior, he went 5-0 with 3 saves and 0.91 ERA. Bonds struck out 76 batters in 46 innings of work.
Aaron Brown, a right-handed pitcher, signed with the Vanderbilt University Commodores. Brown originally committed to Mississippi State but changed his mind to sign with the Commodores. He went 7-2 as a junior with a 1.05 ERA. At the plate, Brown hit .303 with 29 RBI and was voted District 9-AAA Player of the Year in 2016.
Sean Hunley, a right-handed pitcher, signed with the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Hunley committed to the Vols as a junior. He went 1-3 as a junior with 20 strikeouts in 23 1/3 innings. He also hit .288 at the plate last year.
